Emerald High School
John Michael Entrekin

Mr. Entrekin is a native of Clinton, South Carolina and is a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Limestone University in 2023. Mr. Entrekin had the privilege of performing in Drum Corps International with Coastal Surge (2013), Music City Drum and Bugle Corps (2016), and World Class finalists, The Cadets, in 2018.
Mr. Entrekin has served on the band staff of Boiling Spring High School, Pickens High School, and most recently served as the Visual Coordinator, Musical Instructor, and student teacher at Chesnee High School. He hopes to spread his passion and knowledge of music to the students and community of Greenwood School District 50 as the Director of Bands at Emerald High School.

Westview Middle School
Andi Acord
Andi Acord serves as the band director at Westview Middle School and the assistant band director at Emerald High School. Mrs. Acord obtained her Bachelor of Music Education from Anderson University and her Master of Education from the University of South Carolina.
In her eleven years of teaching experience, she has taught music at all levels, K3-12th grade. Most recently, she served as a music teacher at Diamond Hill and John C. Calhoun Elementary Schools in Abbeville County School District. In 2019, at the end of her first year in that position, Mrs. Acord was named Teacher of the Year at JCCE.
Mrs. Acord resides in Greenwood with her husband Aaron and their daughter Reagan (5).
